Do you need a VPS?

First, let’s check if a Dedicated Server or Shared hosting works better for your use case.

Great for almost any application, between 384MB and 32GB in memory. The disk I/O and CPU are somewhat shared across multiple users. Setting up something like a webserver (for a website) may be slightly more complicated than shared hosting.

For websites only. Pick this if you need a small website running in no time. The resource levels are lower than a VPS but it requires much less technical knowledge and comes pre-installed with cPanel for common tasks to make things very user friendly.

A physical computer server, for more advanced users and larger projects. Resources are not shared and generally extend into the higher end. Of course, with this comes the higher cost.
